Despite the usual dining, me and bae decided to have our New Year soirée date at Hyatt Place located in Gurgaon. Little did we know about the place except for its live kitchen and visually appealing décor! Well there was more to it to my surprise making it the most memorable fine dining experience of 2016 already.
Red and white interiors welcome you as you step inside this grand place with their Coffee to Cocktails Bar, all in one place to give you the best of both worlds. Quirky walls, edgy furniture, comfortable furnishings and warm atmosphere altogether will make your dining experience wonderful here. And the food, well it is as good as the view. The staff at Hyatt Place knows how to take good care of its guests (you will leave well fed and catered). This place had me at its lively interiors and the contrast created with red and white colors is warm and inviting. The café is modern and elegant but the real USP is its live kitchen. It’s a sight to watch the chefs prepare the gastronomical delights for you that would be served right into your plate then and there.
Coming to the food now. I started with a cup of coffee (Café Latte). It didn’t appeal me at the first look but the moment I took the first sip, I realized that the looks can be deceiving. It was perfect to say the least! Later I came to know that they have a selection of specialty beverages made with Starbucks espresso roast among other fine ones.
The next thing I tried was their Vegetarian Appetizer of the Day. It was, I think Chilly Mushroom in hot garlic sauce and it was delicious, every bit was well made. A perfect balance of flavors, somewhat on spicy side though – I knew I needed some dessert sooner.
So without much ado, I ordered the Mix Berry Cheesecake. It was one of the most delicious cheesecakes I ever had. I loved their fanatical attention to detail to ensure for the best quality and taste. It was a sort of indulgence that would make you go Mmmm with every bite you take. I could write an entire blog post on this dessert if I am asked to (well it deserves the exaggeration).
Now coming to the buffet, it was the most interesting and visually appealing buffet with outstanding dishes to present your taste buds the best of the gourmet. Starters and Main Course was more on Vegetarian end with reasonable Chicken and Sea food options for the Non-vegetarians. The salads looked extremely colorful and healthy nonetheless tempting to the palate. The seafood salad was quite an addition. The desserts were all lined up in a manner that no one could have just one. I would say that the buffet comprised of the best options to make your dining experience truly rewarding.
